What is the payment schedule?
A 50% advance confirms the booking and reserves the date. A further 45% is payable on or before the event day. The remaining balance must be cleared before final delivery, including album printing, high-resolution files and video export.
When will we receive our photographs, films and albums?
Delivery timelines are communicated at booking and depend on the agreed project requirements. Final edited photographs, videos and albums are supplied after full payment. Complete your photo selection and balance payment within the file-retention period.
How long do you retain our photos and videos?
Raw files and edited data are retained for 30 days from the event date. Files may be permanently deleted after this period. If payment is delayed beyond 30 days, reprocessing charges may apply only if a backup is available. Files cannot be recovered if no backup remains. After delivery, keep your own copies on a hard drive and in cloud storage.
What happens if we cancel or postpone?
Booking advances are non-refundable because the date is reserved and planning begins. A postponed booking may be adjusted to a future date, subject to availability; additional travel, accommodation or team costs may apply. Cancellation within 30 days of the event may incur the full booking amount depending on preparation and team allocation. Please read the full Booking & Delivery Policies.
What if AK Digital Stills cannot deliver the agreed service?
Where services cannot be delivered because of unforeseen technical issues or circumstances on our side, an appropriate resolution such as a reshoot, service adjustment or partial refund will be provided. The full refund, cancellation, data-safety and liability terms are on our policy page.
Will you use our photographs or videos online?
Our published policy allows us to showcase wedding photographs and videos on our website and social media. If you do not want your photographs or videos displayed, please let us know.
How should we protect our delivered files?
